It is true whether the shape of things will remain the same, it cannot be argued, sometimes the fabric is deformed and unevenly reduced in size. Synthetic materials do not lend themselves to any means of influence and do not shrink.

Step 1
Wash the item in hot water. It is not necessary to add powder, unless, of course, the thing is dirty. Old fabrics can be boiled, so the effect will be much better. But colored ones can lose brightness.
Step 2
After taking the item out of hot water, quickly place it in ice cold water. You can add crushed ice. With a sharp change in temperature, the tissue shrinks. Usually the width remains the same, but the length is reduced by a few centimeters.
Step 3
Squeeze out at high speed of the centrifuge. If you washed in a washing machine, set it to 1500 rpm. The harder the spin, the greater the chance that you will achieve the desired result.
Step 4
Hang the item on a hot battery to dry. Do not forget to put any towel under the fabric so that no yellow spots form. Within a few hours you will be able to evaluate the result of the work. If the thing is deformed - do not be discouraged, because it still did not fit you in size.
