For curling hair, the fair sex is accustomed to using all kinds of curlers and curling irons, but this can be done with the help of a straightener. Of course, the phrase "curl your hair with a straightener" sounds more than strange and ridiculous. But getting wonderful curls using this device is actually possible. It only takes a little free time and a bit of patience.
It is necessary
- - iron straightener;
- - thermal protective agent;
- - special clips for hair or "crabs";
- - foam or wax for styling;
- - hairspray with strong or medium hold.
The procedure for curling with a straightener is simple and accessible to any woman and girl. Even one that has no skills in hairdressing.
Apply a special heat protectant to the entire length of your hair. It contains a variety of herbal extracts and nutritional preparations. In order to find the right product for your hair, consult a trichologist.
Divide your hair into small strands. Leave one, and fix the rest with special clamps or "crabs". Then step back 12-15 mm from the hair roots and clamp the first strand between the ironing plates, just not too much. Then wind its free part around the straightener (curls will be lush and voluminous) or around its bottom plate (curls will be more frequent). The main thing is to make sure that the hair sticks out from the head.
Gently pull the straightener downward while holding the ends of your hair with your free hand. The slower you move, the steeper the curl will turn out. And if you move more intensely, the curl will be gentle and smooth.
Work the desired part of the hair or all of the hair in strands. Keep in mind: it may happen that the strand does not twist into a curl. Then wait a while and, when the hair is completely cool, repeat the procedure again.
Secure the curls. To do this, apply some foam or styling wax to them. Do this with your hands without using a comb, otherwise you will damage the curls.
Apply hairspray to your finished hairstyle.
