Instructions

Step 1

By dyeing your hair with one henna, you will get different shades of red, depending on the exposure time of the henna on the hair. And the combination of henna with basma will help you get shades from light brown to black.

Step 2

Before you start using henna and basma, you should know that natural dyes cannot be combined with chemical ones. If you have dyed, highlighted or permed your hair before, then you shouldn't dye it with henna. The shade may turn out to be the most unexpected. Also, you will not be able to dye your hair while it is dyed with henna.

Step 3

Before dyeing with natural dyes, wash your hair and dry it well.

Step 4

Pour henna with hot water (temperature up to 90 degrees), at a higher temperature its coloring properties deteriorate. Basma can be poured with boiling water. Use porcelain dishes.

Step 5

Decide on the shade and method of coloring. You can apply henna to your hair first, and then basma, or you can prepare a mixture. Remember that you cannot dye your hair with basma alone - you get a green color.

Step 6

Separate staining. To get a black color, apply henna to the hair first and hold for about an hour. Then rinse and dry your hair. Then apply basma gruel and hold for 2-3 hours. To make your hair light brown, keep basma for 15-20 minutes, chestnut for 1-1.5 hours.

Step 7

An easier way is to mix henna with basma. Mix 3 parts basma and 1 part henna, hold for 2-3 hours, and you get a black color. If you hold this mixture for 1 hour, you get a light brown shade, and for 1, 5 hours - a chestnut one. 2 parts of henna and 1 part of basma, applied for 1 hour, will give a bronze tint. A light chestnut color can be obtained if you mix henna and basma in equal parts and keep it on your head for 1 hour.

Step 8

Rinse off henna and basma with warm water without shampoo. After dyeing, it is advisable not to wash your hair for 3 days. If you want to make your hair lighter, rinse it with water and lemon juice or vinegar. Using natural dyes, your hair will always be healthy and well-groomed. And the affordable price of henna and basma makes these products even more attractive and popular.
