1. Hair dull and dry

Dry indoor air is the cause of this problem. In addition, in winter you have to use a hairdryer more often: the weather is not the kind to walk with a wet head for a long time, and it also contributes to dull hair. Scarves and hats act mechanically: friction opens hair scales, so their surface becomes dull and devoid of shine.

For prevention, apply a moisturizing mask several times a week. Before hot styling, apply a heat protectant to hair and dry 70% in a cool setting. To reduce dry hair, simple brushing will help, during which the sebum is evenly distributed along the entire length and makes the strands soft. For more effect, apply a drop of olive oil or hand cream to the ends of your hair.

2. Hair is electrified

In winter, the hair becomes dry, and the positively charged particles in their fibers begin to repel each other more intensively. It is this process that is commonly called electrification.

For prevention, use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner regularly. After washing, you can apply a leave-in moisturizer from the middle to the ends of your hair.

Hairspray of weak fixation will urgently get rid of hair electrification: the polymers in its composition simply work wonders. If you have an antistatic hair solution on hand, you can assume that the problem is solved. It differs from an antistatic agent for clothes in the presence of hair nutrients in the composition.

3. Hair does not hold volume

Due to the low humidity in the winter season, the hair becomes unmanageable and does not hold volume. To combat this common problem, apply a volumizing spray to damp hair, focusing at the roots. Tilt your head down and dry the strands in this position. After that, collect the hair at the crown, making a bun, and wait until it cools. If you don't have time to style, apply some dry shampoo to the roots and lift with your fingertips.

4. Hair wrinkles under the cap

The hat fits snugly to the head and fixes the hair in one position for a long time. To avoid heavy hair loss, style your hair in different wave sizes. In this case, the change in the size of the strands will harmoniously fit into the total mass. If you urgently need to revive your hairstyle, throw your hair from one side to the other and fix it with an elastic band or a hairpin, gathering the ends into a ponytail or a loose braid.

5. Scalp flakes

In the winter season, the scalp suffers from dehydration, which is why it begins to peel off. To fix this problem, take good care of it. You can hide flaking by collecting your hair in a ponytail or bun without parting.
