Despite the huge range of industrial shampoos, folk recipes for hair washing are still in demand. One of the most famous is kefir. Masks and wraps are made of it, they wash their hair, achieving the effect of smooth, heavy and obedient hair. True, beginners who have tried washing with sour milk for the first time face some difficulties. How to use kefir correctly?
It is necessary
- - kefir;
- - an egg;
- - black bread;
- - shower cap;
- - dry herbs;
- - mustard powder;
- - vinegar.
Heat the prepared kefir slightly in a water bath or in a microwave oven. Do not boil it under any circumstances - the sour milk will curdle. The liquid should be pleasantly warm. Wet your hair and apply kefir from roots to ends.
Massage your scalp and put on a plastic shower cap. After 15-20 minutes, rinse the strands thoroughly with running water. This procedure can be repeated once or twice a week. After washing, the hair becomes heavy, shiny and manageable.
To strengthen hair roots and get rid of split ends, try a fermented milk mask. Mix a glass of warmed kefir with a teaspoon of fresh yeast and spread the mixture over your head. Rub it into the roots of your hair, wrap it in a towel and wait at least 60 minutes. Rinse the strands thoroughly with warm water.
Does kefir treatment make the strands too heavy and "flat"? Refine the recipe. For example, add a raw egg to kefir. It will give your hair lightness and extra volume. And a small amount of black bread, crushed in sour milk, will allow you to rinse your hair "to a squeak" and provide it with a fresh look for several days.
Another problem with sour milk baths for hair is the specific smell. Rinsing with plain water will not solve the problem. Try adding mustard powder to the water. Some people like a vinegar rinse - table vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Flower infusions based on vinegar are especially good. They are bred in equal parts of warm water, applied generously to the hair and not washed off.
Medicinal herbs also give an excellent effect. Prepare an infusion of sage, nettle, chamomile, or lime blossom. You can add some oregano, lemon balm or mint for a pleasant scent. Pour a tablespoon of the mixture with a glass of boiling water, leave for about half an hour under a closed lid, strain and rinse the hair with broth.
