Paper papillotes, on which girls of the last century twisted curls moistened with sugar water, are almost forgotten today. However, in the absence of modern curling irons or electric curlers at hand, they may well be remembered. Moreover, by winding the strands on soft pieces of paper, you can safely go to bed - and in the morning become the owner of a shock of luxurious curls.

It is necessary

  • - notebook sheets;
  • - strips of cotton fabric;
  • - styling mousse;
  • - hairbrush.

Instructions

Step 1

Paper papillotes, on which girls of the last century twisted curls moistened with sugar water, are almost forgotten today. However, in the absence of modern curling irons or electric curlers at hand, it is quite possible to remember them. Moreover, by winding the strands on soft pieces of paper, you can safely go to bed - and in the morning become the owner of a shock of luxurious curls.

Step 2

Wash your hair and condition your hair before styling for a more manageable strand. Dry your hair thoroughly with a towel.

Step 3

Comb gently with a wide-toothed comb. Leave them loose to dry out the curls a little. Do not curl wet hair - it will not have time to dry out overnight, and instead of a shock of curls, you will get wrinkled wet strands.

Step 4

Prepare papillotes. Cut the notebook sheet into three parts, roll each into a bundle. Place a thin piece of fabric in the middle so that its edges protrude from both sides. The number of prepared papillotes depends on the splendor of your hair. To achieve voluminous, cool curls, wrap thin strands.

Step 5

On almost dry hair, apply a strong hold styling mousse and use a comb to distribute it over the entire length. Separate thin strands from the hair and wind them on a piece of paper. Try to lay the curls evenly - the accuracy of future curls depends on this.

Step 6

After twisting the strand, roll it into a tight sausage and secure it by tying the ends of the cloth flap. Correctly twisted and styled curl is tightly fixed on the head and does not slip.

Step 7

Start at the forehead and temples and work your way up to the crown and back of the head. Having laid all the curls, put a thin mesh on your head so as not to disturb the papillotes in a dream.

Step 8

In the morning, carefully remove the pieces of paper, having previously untied the fabric ribbons. Don't brush your hair. Beat them lightly with the fingers of both hands, tilting your head down. Spray your curls with varnish and lay them on your back. Smooth the curls gently on top and fix them with varnish again. The ends of individual strands can be lightly waxed to give the hairstyle a sharper outline.
