Rough skin on the heels and cracks cause discomfort and pain when walking. These effective folk remedies will help to cleanse the heels of rough skin, as well as soften and moisturize it.

Epsom Salt
Epsom salt improves blood circulation in the legs and softens the skin of the feet. Plus, it contains magnesium, which helps remove toxins.
- Soak your feet in warm water, then cleanse your skin with soap.
- Refill the bowl with warm water and add 1-2 handfuls of Epsom salt. Keep your feet until the water is cool, then dry your feet with a soft towel.
- Let them dry for 10 minutes and wash your feet again to remove dead skin cells.
- Rinse your feet in warm water and pat dry. Apply moisturizer and wear socks to absorb the cream better.
- Repeat the procedure 3 times a week.
Lemon
Lemon removes dead skin cells and leaves it soft and smooth.
- Fill a bowl with warm water. Add some lemon juice there.
- Soak your feet for 15 minutes. After steaming the hardened skin, rub it with a pumice stone.
- Rinse your feet with water and pat dry.
- Apply moisturizer.
Or
- Mix 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly with the juice of 1 lemon.
- Soak your feet in soapy water and then pat dry with a towel.
- Apply the mixture to rough skin.
- Put on a pair of socks and go to bed.
- The next morning, use a pumice stone to exfoliate your skin.
- Repeat the procedure regularly.
Glycerol
Glycerin can make the skin softer and lighter.
- Mix together enough glycerin and lemon juice.
- Apply the mixture to your heels.
- Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off with water.
- Repeat this process regularly.
Or
- Mix 1 tablespoon each of glycerin and lemon juice, 3 tablespoons of sea salt and 1 teaspoon of rose water.
- Apply the mixture to rough skin.
- Scrub the skin for 5 minutes and leave for 20-25 minutes.
- Then rinse with cool water.
Banana
Banana effectively removes dead cells from the skin as well as moisturizes it.
- Grind 1 ripe banana into a smooth paste and place on your heels.
- Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water and then cool water.
- Do the procedure daily.
Or
- Take 1 ripe banana, mashed avocado, and chopped orange zest.
- Mix them in a blender.
- Apply the mixture to your feet and keep it on for 30 minutes.
- Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
- Apply any moisturizer.
