In winter, the skin of the face requires intensive and more thorough care, since at this time of the year various external factors appear that cause great harm to it. Masks, which can be easily prepared at home, will help protect, moisturize and restore the skin.
All winter masks should moisturize the skin and nourish it with polyunsaturated fats. Once or twice a week, apply olive oil, slightly warmed in a water bath, to cleansed skin. It will give the skin elasticity, soothe and eliminate flaking.
A nourishing mask based on vegetable oil smoothes fine mimic wrinkles, makes the skin soft and even healthy color. Heat 30-40 ml of any vegetable oil in a water bath to a comfortable temperature and mix it with several capsules of an oil solution of vitamin E. In the resulting product, soak a gauze pad and apply on your face. Repeat the manipulations after 10-12 minutes. At the end of the procedure, rinse your face with cool water. Do not completely wash off the oil film: it has a protective effect and nourishes the deep layers of the skin.
For dry skin, the following mask will be useful: mix 1 tsp. liquid honey with whipped egg white. Before directly applying the mask, hold your face over the steam for 2-3 minutes. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off.
For oily skin, a classic lemon juice and honey mask recipe is suitable. It will shrink pores, saturate skin cells with nutrients and remove excess shine. Mix 1 tablespoon each. lemon juice and lime honey until smooth and apply on the face along the massage lines. After 20 minutes, wash with cool water or chilled chamomile infusion.
