Dilated or burst blood vessels, vascular networks - all this serves as a signal that not everything is in order in the body. It does not matter what is the reason for the appearance of the so-called "stars" on the skin: genetic predisposition, pregnancy or disruption of the internal organs and the circulatory system. In any case, they look unattractive. It is quite difficult to get rid of a burst or enlarged vessel.
Do not expect, looking in the mirror every morning, that the problem will be solved by itself. Traces on the skin from burst vessels and vascular networks do not disappear on their own. It is extremely rare to talk about cases when "it has passed by itself." Therapies are also ineffective against bursting vessels, so don't waste your time and money.
Although, of course, there are a few things you can do on your own. In order not to increase the risk of bursting or dilated blood vessels, do not abuse exposure to the sun or in a tanning bed, avoid hypothermia of the skin, control the intake of steroids, hormonal drugs and perform deep skin peeling procedures very carefully.
You can also disguise a burst vessel with cosmetics, but not every foundation can cope with the problem. If the "asterisk" is barely noticeable, then the base and the corrector will paint over it quite successfully, but after make-up removal it will still remain in its place. What can we say about those cases when the defect is clearly expressed.
Removal of blood vessels by the method of electrocoagulation and cryodestruction by the cosmetologists themselves are recognized as rather outdated. If you are ready to go through such a procedure, then first ask about the consequences and results. The cosmetologist must honestly warn you that the effectiveness of such methods is quite low, and after the procedure, scars remain on the skin. In some cases, there is hyperpigmentation and skin depigmentation.
Give preference to the removal of blood vessels using a laser. The procedure is carried out quickly enough, on average, no longer than 15 minutes. Sometimes several procedures may be required, but they take place in fairly comfortable conditions, so you can sacrifice extra minutes for the sake of beauty. The essence of the method is that a light laser beam, penetrating the skin, is converted into heat due to the absorption of blood by hemoglobin. This, as it were, seals the lumen of the vessel from the inside. In some cases, after the first session, the vessels may become more noticeable, but this is only a temporary effect that will be eliminated by subsequent procedures.
