Often, it is enough to use the appropriate cosmetics properly to significantly improve the condition of the skin. However, the most important is the choice of drugs: softer if the skin is prone to acne, sensitive and prone to irritation. The type of cosmetics used is of great importance.
It is good if all cosmetics come from the same line, because then their effects complement each other. It is also important that they are used in the correct order and as many times a week as recommended by the manufacturer.
Cleansing cosmetics should be used 2 times a day. Its task is to remove impurities and excess sebum, unblock pores, restore bacterial balance, and normalize sebum secretion. For cleansing acne and oily skin, antibacterial micellar liquids, gels, lotions and washing emulsions designed for oily skin are recommended. It is important that cosmetics do not contain alcohol, because instead of improving the condition, they will dry and irritate the skin.
Exfoliating peels should be used 2-3 times a week. They remove dead skin cells, open pores and tighten them.
Bacteriostatic cosmetics are recommended for acne and maculopapular acne - it should be used in the morning and evening after thorough cleansing of the skin. They inhibit the growth of bacteria on the skin, which prevents the spread of acne, and also exfoliates dead cells of the epidermis by opening the pores.
It is recommended to use normalizing tonics 2 times a day before applying the cream. Toner balances skin pH, tightens pores and regulates sebum secretion.
Daily cream. Its main task is to maintain the correct management of water and fat in the epidermis. A good cream moisturizes, restoring the moisture balance of the skin (especially if it is dry due to strong anti-acne treatments), but also soothes irritations, mattifies, restores beneficial bacterial flora, reduces hyperkeratosis and regulates the sebaceous glands.
The night cream contains more biologically active substances than the day cream. Therefore, it has a slightly different effect: exfoliates the epidermis, reduces acne and regulates sebum secretion. Smoothes the skin, evens out its color, cleanses and tightens pores.
Masks - you can use them 2-3 times a week. Most often they are in the form of a paste or thick emulsion. They dry on the skin to form a coating from which the ingredients penetrate deep into the skin to cleanse and smooth it.
Spot preparations are intended for use precisely at the site of purulent eruptions. They have a calming effect, dry out the affected areas and accelerate the regeneration process.
