Many people underestimate the care of the neck and décolleté area, although these areas of the body require it in the same way as the skin of the face. The effect is usually premature aging and loss of firmness, which only gets worse over time.

Very often the skin of the neck and décolleté is irritated. Some women are completely unaware of how sensitive she is - in fact, it can be damaged by contact with rough or biting material - for example, in a turtleneck, sweater or shawl, or when wearing sharp beads or chains.

In addition to these less obvious factors, of course, there are well-known ones - external, such as sunlight, frost or environmental pollution, and internal, such as smoking, alcohol abuse, etc.

How to tone your neck and décolleté? Proper care does not take much effort or time. All you need to do is follow a few golden rules:

  • Do not wash these parts of the body with regular soap - use gels or other cosmetics intended for washing your face.
  • Avoid heavy cleaning - do not use an abrasive sponge. To exfoliate dead cells, use peeling - the same one that is intended for the face.
  • Apply moisturizers or nourishing creams every day.
  • Pay attention to how to apply the cream correctly - try to follow the movement of the muscles, from the bottom up on the neck and from the center to the shoulders in the décolleté area.
  • Systematically perform simple exercises that will improve not only the condition of the skin, but also the muscles, for example - move the jaw, as if biting it, tilt your head back, clenching your teeth, then (constantly clenching) tilt your head and stop for a moment in this position. Perform both exercises while standing.
  • Find a moment to gently massage yourself (remembering the correct direction of movement - for example, when applying cream) or visit a professional salon. It's also a great way to relax.
  • Avoid coarse and tight-fitting clothing - for everyday use, choose soft materials and loose cuts.

In addition to the standard daily care, it is worth taking time for a more comprehensive treatment, at least once a week, so that you can fully take care of your beautiful and healthy appearance. It is best to start your home spa with a bath, which will soften the skin and at the same time allow you to relax. You can enrich it with additional ingredients such as herbal infusions, natural vegetable oils, or various types of salts. The next step is exfoliation, which removes dead skin and makes the skin absorb nutrients better.
