Lipoma, although not a malignant formation, can negatively affect human health, therefore it must be diagnosed and removed in time. Removal of a fatty tumor is possible by folk and surgical methods.
A dense neoplasm under the skin, which is popularly called a wen, is actually a lipoma - a fatty tumor. Many may be horrified when reading the name alone, but it should be understood that this tumor has nothing to do with cancer, which means it is benign.
In most cases, the causes of lipoma formation lie in poor nutrition.
The fat is in many ways reminiscent of an inflamed lymph node - soft, has clear boundaries, with light pressure with a finger, it can mix to the side. The size of the wen may increase over time. But at the same time, the neoplasm remains painless, therefore for a long time it can be unnoticed. The only trouble a lipoma can cause is swelling on the skin.
It is necessary to remove lipoma. Otherwise, it can grow into muscle tissue, squeeze nearby vessels and nerve bundles. Large lipomas can compress organs, and old ones can necrotize.
You can get rid of a wen on the body on your own using safe folk remedies, the effect of which is based on improving blood circulation in the area of lipoma localization.
Compresses from a freshly picked leaf of a golden mustache help well. Rinse the leaves with water, knead a little in your hands, and then bandage them tightly for 10-12 hours to the place where the tumor is located.
You can increase blood circulation with garlic. Mix the gruel made from several peeled cloves of this plant with a few drops of vegetable oil and rub it daily on the affected area of the body.
For the treatment of lipoma, you can use raw chicken eggs, or rather films from them. Apply a compress from the films to the wen, and after a while remove. The affected area will turn red and swollen, indicating blood flow. Let the tissues of the body recover a little, and then continue with the treatment.
A radical method is the use of celandine juice, which is poisonous. As soon as the juice hits the skin, ulceration immediately appears. Drop a drop of juice on the wen - a hole will appear in the latter through which the contents of the lipoma can be removed. The well-known Vishnevsky ointment has an excellent pulling and absorbing effect, but you can also use the leaves of aloe or plantain, which must first be ground to a mushy state.
It is difficult to remove lipomas that are large enough in size using folk methods, so you have to resort to surgical ones.
You can remove a fatty tumor by injecting a special solution into it with a resorbing effect. This method does not leave scars on the skin, but it is absolutely useless in cases where the size of the seal is more than a couple of centimeters.
In the latter case, surgical removal under anesthesia is more effective. However, after a similar operation on the body, unattractive scars remain.
It is very important to remove the lipoma capsule, otherwise the wen may reappear.
There is also a more modern method of treating lipomas - laser surgery. The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia in a fairly short time. The most important thing is that after laser removal of a wen, defects on the skin do not remain.
