It is necessary

  • - surgical gloves;
  • - cotton wool;
  • - dropper needle;
  • - 100 ml of alcohol;
  • - antiseptic.

Step 1

There are several different options for a nose piercing. One of the most popular is the puncture of the septum that separates the nostrils from one another. The second most popular is a puncture of the right or left nostril. Such a piercing, firstly, is more aesthetic, and secondly, it is easier to care for it. And finally, the last option is to pierce the bridge of the nose. It is worth noting that this is a rather dangerous and painful procedure, so it is less common. Choose your preferred nose piercing option.

Step 2

Prepare a piece of jewelry that you will use. For the septum, a variety of rings are selected, when the nostril is punctured, they use rods, at one end of which there is an eye-catching accessory, or ordinary studs.

Step 3

Prepare the materials you will need to make the puncture. Buy surgical gloves, cotton wool, rubbing alcohol, and an IV needle. Choose its diameter based on the size of the jewelry you have chosen. Most importantly, all tools and materials used must be disinfected! The conditions in which the puncture will be carried out must also be sterile. It is better not to use anesthetics, as it is unsafe at home. It's easier to be patient.

Step 4

Place the jewelry in a container of rubbing alcohol. Disinfect the needle. Put on gloves and insert a swab moistened with alcohol into your nostril, carefully treat it. After that, twist the nostril and puncture with a strong sharp movement. Remove the needle itself, and leave the tube in the nostril. After that, insert the jewelry into the tube and take it out. Then again thoroughly clean the punctured area with alcohol.

Step 5

After a puncture, you cannot move the piercing for a while and replace the jewelry. Wait for the wound to heal. For care, you will need an antiseptic, for example, chlorhexidine solution or miramistin solution. Treat your piercing twice each day. Within one month, the wound will heal and a canal will form.
