Not all representatives of the fair sex can boast of strong and beautiful nails from nature. However, modern materials allow any woman to always have well-groomed hands with a neat manicure. But even artificial nails need constant care.
It is necessary
- - a set of files with abrasiveness from 150 to 4000 grit;
- - wooden stick;
- - for edged manicure: tweezers, a bath with warm water;
- - for unsightly manicure: exfoliating cuticle gel;
- - antistatic brush;
- - Ultraviolet lamp;
- - apparatus for manicure;
- - napkins or towel;
- - cotton swabs;
- - artificial material (gel or acrylic);
- - glue for artificial nails;
- - disinfectant solution;
- - nail polish remover;
- - nourishing cuticle gel;
- - protective covering for the cuticle.
Before you start correcting your nails, wash your hands thoroughly and treat them with a disinfectant solution. If your nails were covered with varnish, remove it with a special liquid. Start removing the cuticle. Move the cuticle back with a wooden stick. If you are doing a trim manicure, put your hands in a bath of warm water for a few minutes, and then use tweezers to cut off the dead skin. For unedged manicure, apply exfoliating gel to cuticles for 1 to 3 minutes and remove excess skin with a stick. After these procedures, dry your hands with a tissue to keep them clean and dry.
With a 400 grit file, gently remove the shine from natural nails, taking care not to damage the surface of the nail. Then use a file with an abrasiveness of 150 - 180 grit and process the areas of delamination of the artificial material. After that, grind off 2/3 of the thickness of the old coating with a file. Use an anti-static brush to shake off dust. Prepare the cuticle: disinfect it, treat it with a preparation that nourishes the nail structure, and apply a protective coating.
Start modeling. Apply a layer of your material (acrylic or gel) to each nail so that it does not come into contact with the skin, and cure it for 20 seconds under a UV lamp. After the artificial material has hardened, place each hand under a UV lamp for 2 minutes. Then clean the natural nail from the glue and dirt with a manicure machine.
File a new layer of material with files, increasing their abrasiveness from 150 to 4000 grit, to obtain a smooth shiny surface of the artificial nail. Wash your hands and dry well. Glue the border between the artificial material and the natural nail, taking care not to adhere to the skin. Then, if desired, apply nail polish and treat the cuticle with an emollient or nourishing oil.
