Strengthening nails with biogel is a common procedure loved by a huge number of women. The process of applying biogel is quite fast, it stays on the nails for about 3 weeks and is removed without cutting the nail plate.
It is necessary
- - cotton pads;
- - nail polish remover with acetone;
- - foil;
- - nail files.
The safest and fastest way to remove biogel is in a salon specializing in nail care. An experienced nail technician will easily and quickly remove the nail coating using a special remover. To do this, a cotton or rag disk is well impregnated with the necessary composition and applied to the nail. Then, caps are made from durable foil and put on over a cotton swab. Biogel will become soft in 5-10 minutes and can be quickly removed from the nail plate with manicure tools. Then the nails can be immediately coated with any coating you like or simply painted with varnish.
If it is not possible to go to the salon, try to remove biogel from the surface of the nails yourself. First, carefully file off the top layer of the gel with a fine nail file. This must be done carefully so as not to damage the nail plates themselves.
Take a nail polish remover that contains acetone. If there is no acetone in the composition, then it will not be possible to soften the biogel. Wet a cotton pad well with liquid and place it on the nail. To prevent acetone vapor from evaporating, wrap the nail with thick foil on top, turning it with the matte side inward. After 15 minutes, remove the cotton wool and a piece of foil from the nail. The biogel should become soft, like a rubber film and can be easily removed with an orange stick. If the coating is not previously cut off, then keep the liquid with acetone on the nail for at least 25 minutes. Peel off the foil one at a time from each finger. The fact is that biogel can quickly solidify in air and will have to be softened again.
The nails freed from the coating, carefully polish with a special file. Apply several coats of the firming base on top and massage special softening oil into the cuticle. So you can slightly minimize the harm from the home procedure for removing biogel. For several days, soak your nails with sea salt or rub lemon juice into the nail plates. Nails require a course of restorative procedures after the self-stripping process.
Consider the nuance that acetone is a rather corrosive liquid. Therefore, it can damage the surface of the nails and lead to the appearance of roughness and unevenness on it. As a result, the perfect manicure with varnish after removing the biogel at home may not work.
