Instructions
Step 1
Diet for nails.
Include fish and seafood in your diet. It is best to steam the fish to preserve the nutrients. Eat foods with gelatin, such as jelly or marmalade. Buy nail vitamins and brewer's yeast from your pharmacy. Eat dairy products and dried fruits such as figs and dates. Dried fruits can be boiled and taken as an infusion.
Step 2
Bath for nails with iodine
Heat unrefined sunflower oil on the stove or in the microwave. It shouldn't be hot. Pour into a deep bowl so that you can dip your fingers into it by immersing your nails in the oil. Dip iodine into the oil. Soak your nails in the oil bath for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 3
Bath with olive or vegetable oil
Add lemon juice to the heated oil. Dip your fingers in the oil so that your nails are covered with the nutrient mixture, hold your hands in this position for 15 minutes. After the procedure, blot your fingers with a paper towel.
Step 4
Herbal bath.
Pour burdock root, chamomile and St. John's wort into a thermos, pour boiling water, let it brew. Strain the infusion into a deep bowl and hold your hands in it. Do this bath once a week.
Step 5
Beeswax ointment.
Place the oil in the softened beeswax. Stir. The mixture should be creamy. Apply homemade ointment to your nails. Keep it as long as you can. Wipe off the rest of the ointment with a napkin.
Step 6
Home manicure.
Remove the rest of the varnish from the nails with a special tool without acetone. Move the cuticle away with an orange stick. Shape your nails with a glass or ceramic file. Use a base under a colored varnish so that the varnish lies smoother and does not eat into the nail plate.
Step 7
Massage
Apply the nourishing oil to your nails and cuticles. With your thumbs, make circular movements along the nails, massage the nail plates and cuticles. Rub oil into them. Remove any remaining oil with a paper towel.
