Regular pedicure ensures that your feet are kept in top condition. It takes a little time and can be very enjoyable, making it a beauty ritual.
- Nail polish remover,
- nail file,
- bath salt (to be added to water),
- cuticle grater,
- olive oil to soften the cuticle,
- wooden stick for removing cuticles,
- sharp forceps,
- base for varnish,
- selected nail polish,
- varnish fixer.
Step 1: thoroughly rinse off the paintwork
You should start by thoroughly rinsing off the remnants of the old varnish. If your nails are not painted, skip this step.
Step 2: sawing
After cleaning, start sawing. Remember that the nail is always straight, in order to avoid ingrowth. If this is not a problem, you can cut them with nippers, and then shape them with a file. Then polish the nails with a special polisher.
Step 3: heel care
Before you start caring for your heels, you need to soften the skin. To do this, soak your feet for a few minutes in warm water with soap, olives, sea salt, or use a special softener (such as the popular softening foam). Then rinse off any cosmetic residue by drying with a towel.
Treat very calloused areas with a sharp foot grater. For smoothing, use another, more gentle grater and apply a gentle exfoliation. Massage for a few minutes, then rinse with warm water and dry.
A milling machine is always present in a professional pedicure salon. This device is used to wipe the corpus callosum. After processing on such a machine, the legs are perfectly smooth and clean.
However, inadequate use of the milling machine at home can result in severe skin damage and even wounds. It is not advisable to be too diligent in this case.
Step 4: trim the cuticle
Lubricate the cuticle with liquid or emollient oil. After a while, cut off the cuticle with a wooden stick (orange), not too deep, so as not to damage the skin and nail plate. After removing it, grease your nails with olive oil.
Step 5: painting your nails
Before you start painting your nails, make the job comfortable. Place a special divider between your fingers so that the skin does not come into contact with the painted nail. Then wipe your nails with nail polish remover to degrease the nail plate.
Paint them with a base and after a while apply the first coat of varnish.
