It is necessary

  • - nail clippers;
  • - a small bowl for steaming nails and skin;
  • - a wooden spatula or stick to push back the cuticle;
  • - scissors for manicure with a rounded blade;
  • - pliers for manicure (to remove skin);
  • - a file with an abrasive to create the shape of the nail;
  • - soft file for sanding;
  • - hand scrub;
  • - cuticle oil;
  • - hand cream;
  • - hydrogen peroxide for wound treatment.

Step 1

Use your nail clippers and an abrasive file and use them to trim the nails to the desired length and shape. Use a wooden spatula or orange stick to push back the skin at the very base of the nail. Apply cuticle cream to the base of the nail.

Step 2

Fill a bowl with warm, frothy water. Dip your hands in a bowl for 15 minutes. Treat the steamed cuticle: cut off the excess, remove the skin around the nail.

Step 3

Finish your nails with a soft nail file to give them their final shape. Apply a scrub to your hands and massage your hands with it. Rinse off the scrub. Apply a nourishing cream to your hands.

Step 4

Treat the base of your nails with cuticle oil. Leave it on for a short time (no more than 20 minutes) and rinse it off.

Step 5

To get the right manicure at home, you need to apply the correct varnish. To do this, first apply a base to the nails. It will enhance the interaction of the varnish with the nails and additionally protect the nails from harmful effects. Thanks to the base, the varnish will last longer on the nails.

Step 6

Take the nail polish and brush in the center of the nail in one stroke from bottom to top. Apply polish along the contour of the cuticle, never painting over it. Apply the varnish to the sides of the nail in even strokes from bottom to top.

Step 7

Be sure to apply the varnish in two layers, as the first layer only sets the overall tone, and the second adds depth to the color and hides the slips. At the end of the manicure, apply a nail polish fixer to the nails.
