Yogurt is a terrific facial treatment. It effectively cleanses the skin, but at the same time has a moisturizing, softening and soothing effect. Yogurt contains lactic acid, which promotes cell regeneration. On its basis, you can make wonderful refreshing, toning, moisturizing and cleansing masks.
For the preparation of masks, you should use only natural yogurt, which does not contain any fruit additives.
Mask for normal to combination skin
A mask of 2 tablespoons will help to refresh and moisturize the skin. natural yogurt and 1 tbsp. fruit pulp. For cooking, you can use raspberries, peaches, watermelons, or apples. Apply the product to your face and leave it on for about half an hour.
Mask for oily skin
A mask prepared on the basis of natural yogurt and fruit juice will help to reduce the oily sheen and give the face a matte finish. It is best to use strawberry, cherry, rowan, tangerine, orange, lemon or pomegranate juice. Mix the ingredients in a 2: 1 ratio and apply to face with a brush. Remember that this mask has a slight whitening effect.
Scrub mask for dry skin
Mix 1 tbsp. crushed almonds in a coffee grinder with 2 tbsp. yogurt, 1 tsp. honey and 1 tbsp. almond oil. Mix all ingredients well and apply to face with gentle massaging movements. Leave the composition for fifteen minutes and rinse with warm water. In this recipe, you can use grape seed oil, wheat germ oil, apricot oil, or olive oil instead of almond oil. In turn, the ground almonds are replaced with crushed oatmeal.
This mask has a good astringent and cleansing effect, therefore it is suitable for the care of oily and combination skin. For cooking, grind 1 tbsp. baker's yeast with 3 tbsp. yogurt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda. Apply the composition to the skin and keep it on for ten minutes.
