Wet calluses, or as they are often called dropsy, usually appear on the heels or toes due to the friction of the skin of the body against the inner walls of the shoe. The first thing that needs to be done in this case is to change shoes to looser ones, as open as possible. In this case, the callus may disappear over time by itself. It remains only to subsequently remove the dead skin.

If the bubble does burst, it is necessary to disinfect the wound with hydrogen peroxide and apply an antibacterial plaster. You can also apply grated potatoes overnight, fixing it with a bandage. Traditional healers also suggest applying a film that covers the inside of a chicken egg. After drying, the white film will dry and stick to the damaged area, and after a couple of days, the corn will disappear.

It is somewhat more difficult to deal with dry calluses, especially old ones. If the corns are small, you need to steam your feet in a bath with a solution of hot water and sea salt or soda. After the solid formations have softened, they can be removed with a pumice stone. Then lubricate your feet with a nourishing cream.

You can get rid of keratinized skin with the help of an ointment, which is easy to prepare yourself. To do this, dissolve the crushed propolis in warm 96⁰ ethyl alcohol, add salicylic acid powder about 1/3 of the solution. Prepare a homogeneous mass from this composition. Apply this ointment to the affected area for 3-4 days.

It is also helpful to rub your feet with vegetable oil rich in vitamin E overnight.

If you prefer pharmaceuticals, a large number of ointments are sold in pharmacies, which are mainly made on the basis of salicylic acid. Well-proven: "Bensalitin", "Super Antimozolin", "Stop Callus", "Frisonel". Ointments are usually applied for 3-4 days, after which the corn is easily peeled off with a pumice stone or a special knife.

Those who, for some reason, cannot use the means described above, can be offered to contact a dermatologist or a beauty parlor, entrusting the treatment of their feet to professionals.

But in any case, it should be remembered that the best remedy for corns will be their prevention. You need to choose your shoes very carefully. It should not be tight and chafe. Also, wear shoes that are as open as possible and in season. The leg should not sweat. If you suffer from increased sweating, then try to use sports socks, apply special lotions.

The main thing is not to start the process if it has already started. The consequences can be serious, up to and including surgery.
