Many women are discouraged when they see their breasts after giving birth. The forms that one could be proud of are not the same, the skin is saggy and covered with stretch marks … But you should not despair. If you want this part of the body to cause admiration in men and envy of friends, it needs to be worked on. Although you won't be able to quickly get your breasts in order, your persistence and consistency will certainly be rewarded.
Since the breast during the period of feeding the baby is larger and heavier, from the very first days after childbirth, do not forget to monitor your posture: do not bend in three deaths when you sit, and straighten your shoulders when walking.
Take care of a comfortable nursing bra. It should have a good shape, wide shoulder straps and fit for you. It should be worn even in the hospital - before the milk arrives and as long as you are breastfeeding. When you take off your bra, put on and wear elastic underwear that also supports your breasts well.
If you have a lot of milk and have to express it, leave this job to a modern breast pump. When you pump it manually, your breasts lose their shape much faster.
While breastfeeding, try to apply the baby evenly to each breast, one at a time, so that the amount of milk produced is the same.
Even if during pregnancy you did not have stretch marks on your chest, for prevention, it is better to use special creams or gels for six months to improve the shape of the breast and skin elasticity. Study their composition in advance and make sure that they are not harmful to the child.
Use masks that contain cucumber juice, eggs, honey, or clay to restore firmness to your breast skin. More often use scrubs and hard washcloths (brushes), perform a light massage by rubbing and patting. This stimulates blood flow and good circulation in the chest area.
Abundant drinking (if there are no contraindications to this) and vitamins contribute to the elasticity of the skin. Limit salt intake and try to drink at least 2 liters of fluid per day. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables rich in fiber.
About a couple of months after giving birth, you can start exercising to help improve the shape of your breasts. If you have had a cesarean section, the beginning of such training will have to be postponed to a later date and only after the permission of the doctors.
A simple but effective exercise is regular push-ups. From a prone position, push up from the floor with your arms bent at the elbows. Try not to bend - your back should be straight. Start this exercise with a minimum of repetitions, and then gradually increase the load.
Place your feet shoulder-width apart, spread your elbows to the sides, and bring your palms in front of you and squeeze them for 20 seconds with the maximum possible tension. Then relax and repeat this exercise again. It can be done several times a day.
Lie on your back with dumbbells in front of you. Spread and connect your hands with dumbbells at least 10 times.
Backstroke and contrast showers are also very helpful for improving breast shape.
