Step 3
First, make a pattern for the dress: take the fabric and measure the length of the dress, about 90 cm. Then fold the resulting rectangle in half and along the fold line and measure a piece 25 cm long for the future armhole. Make the appropriate cut according to these marks.
Step 4
Sew the side seam on the typewriter, remembering to leave 25 cm under the second armhole. After that, process the edges of the armholes: tuck and sew with a zigzag stitch.

The next step is to make small pea ruffles: cut 2 strips of fabric 20 cm wide and 140 cm long and join them on a typewriter. Tape the top edge of the frill with polka-dot tape, also sewing it in a zigzag pattern.

On the top of the ruffle, place 2 seams 2 cm apart to create a drawstring for the elastic. Sew a satin ribbon on the back to match the main color of the dress. Sew the drawstring to the base of the dress and thread the elastic.
