There are many ways to tie ties, but not all of them can be used for thick ties. Therefore, it is good when a man has the skills to tie not only standard ties, but also others designed for special occasions.

Instructions
Step 1
Tie the tie using the Universal Knot method. To do this, take a thick tie and wrap it around your neck so that the wider part is on the left. Then take this wide part of the tie and cross it over the narrow one. Next, pass the wide edge of the tie under the entire base of the tie upwards. Then lower the wide part of the tie on the right side of the resulting knot. After that, thread it from right to left under the tie itself. Wrap the wide area around the narrow one one more time, and then thread it up under the knot. At the same time, control with your left hand so that a small loop remains in front. Next, thread the wide edge of the tie through the loop at the front. Then lightly tighten the resulting knot.
Step 2
Make a "Double Knot". It will require a tie made of thick fabric, slightly longer than for some other knots. Take a tie and put it around your neck so that its wide edge is longer than the narrow one. Then cross the ends of the tie and thread the wide base of the tie up. After that, make another loop, while lowering the tie down so that it begins to hang down in front. Next, pass the wide edge of the tie in the back under the narrow one and wrap the knot as neatly from left to right with its wide area (creating a small loop in the front). Then, pass the wide end of the tie up under the knot. Watch the knot so that it does not tighten. Hold the loop with your free hand at the same time. After that, pass the wide edge of the tie from the front into the formed loop and slowly tighten the resulting double knot.
Step 3
Tie a tie using the Prince Albert method. Put on the tie, then lower the wider part to make it narrower. Next, cross the ends of the tie and wrap the narrow end with the wide one. Make another loop by lowering the tie itself. After that, pass the wide end of the tie up and move it over the loop formed. Tighten the knot.
