Drying down jackets on the balcony is acceptable. The down jacket must be laid out on top of a special mesh dryer, thereby ensuring air circulation. However, direct sunlight should be avoided.
The main condition for the successful drying of a down jacket can be called periodic shaking of the product in different directions. You need to shake as if you were beating a pillow. Also, during drying, the down jacket should be turned over and shaken as often as possible, while straightening the fluff inside the product with your hands.
Another way you can dry a down jacket is to insert a hair dryer into the pocket of the jacket, turning on a not too hot mode, air dry and at the same time straighten the filler.
