Coffee is not only an invigorating and energizing drink, but also an excellent cosmetic product that has a beneficial effect on the skin and hair. For the preparation of masks, you must use only natural coffee.

Coffee face masks

To prepare a mask for normal to combination skin, mix 1, 5 tablespoons of coffee grounds with the same amount of fatty cottage cheese. Apply the prepared mixture to your face and leave for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

If you have dry skin, take 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds, mix with a pinch of salt, the same amount of ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of almond oil. Apply the mask to the skin with light massage movements and keep it on for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

For oily skin, a mask made from ground coffee and kefir, taken in a 1: 2 ratio, is perfect. Apply the resulting mass on your face for 10 minutes, then rinse with cool water.

Coffee masks for hair

To strengthen dark hair and make it shinier, brew 1 teaspoon of natural ground coffee with 1 tablespoon of boiling water, stir and let it brew for about 10 minutes. Then add 2 egg yolks, 0.5 teaspoon castor oil and 2 tablespoons brandy. Stir and apply the mask to damp hair, leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

For a nourishing mask, carefully mix 2 tablespoons of brewed ground coffee, 1 tablespoon of brandy, and 2 tablespoons of honey. Distribute the resulting product evenly over the entire length of the hair, insulate your head with plastic wrap and a towel. Keep the mask on for 20-30 minutes. It can only be used for dark hair.

Coffee wraps

Coffee wraps are an excellent remedy for cellulite, leaving the skin soft and supple. Take 4-5 tablespoons of coffee grounds and dilute with hot water so that you get a thick gruel. Apply the resulting composition to problem areas of the body and wrap with cling film, then put on warm clothes or lie under a blanket. After 30-40 minutes, take a warm shower and lubricate your skin with moisturizer.

You can diversify this recipe by adding orange or lemon essential oil to the coffee grounds, after diluting it in base oil - olive, almond, apricot, and so on. Take 5-7 drops of essential oil for 1 tablespoon of base oil. To achieve the desired results, carry out a course of 10-12 procedures with an interval of 2-3 days.
