Beautiful smoky eye makeup is suitable for any type of appearance and a wide variety of situations. It all depends on the choice of shades, their saturation and the texture of the products. But whichever version of "smokey ice" you prefer, the main thing is to apply cosmetics correctly so that the spectacular makeup will last as long as possible.

  • - base under the shade;
  • - a set of brushes and applicators;
  • - white shadows;
  • - dark shadows in the same range;
  • - soft pencil or eyeliner;
  • - waterproof pencil;
  • - concealer;
  • - Mascara;
  • - artificial eyelashes in bunches;
  • - eyelash curler.

Step 1

Apply some cream or gel make-up base into the skin around the eyes. Wait until it is completely absorbed - it will take less than a minute. The base will prevent shadows and pencil from rolling and gathering in the creases of the eyelids.

Step 2

Apply white eyeshadow all over the eyelid to help blend darker shades. Choose a color for the future haze. The classic option is gray or brown, but you can try trendy colored smoky colors using green, blue or purple shades.

Step 3

Apply a medium shade to the upper lid from lash line to crease. Use the same color to emphasize the lower eyelid, drawing a line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer one. Extend the lines beyond the contour of the eye. They can be raised a little, this technique is relevant for lowered corners of the eyes.

Step 4

Draw a dark shadow on the applicator and place it in the crease of the upper eyelid and on the outer corner of the eye. Rub the lines, adding more shadows if necessary. You can vary the intensity of the haze - the more layers of shadow you put in, the brighter and deeper your makeup will be.

Step 5

Line up your eyes using a pencil or cream-based eyeliner. Apply with a brush or a very fine latex applicator. Do not forget about the inner corners of the eyes - they should also be circled. Line up the inner eyelid with a thin, waterproof pencil. If you have very sensitive eyes or wear contact lenses, you can skip this technique.

Step 6

Brush off any specks of shadow from your skin. Retouch the area under the eyes with a soft creamy yellowish concealer, it perfectly hides bruises and redness, as well as fine wrinkles. Smokey ice makeup will draw everyone's attention to your eyes, so the skin around them should look flawless.

Step 7

Finally, paint your lashes with two coats of black, dark brown or dark blue mascara. If your own lashes are short and sparse, stick a couple of faux hair tufts around the outer corners of your eyes. Straight eyelashes can be curled with special curling tongs for a beautiful curl.
